Rules

The rules of the Wren's World discord server are non exhaustive and moderators may punish for things not mentioned within these rules below.

To ensure a safe space for everyone, we have quite a lot of rules for everyone to follow, these rules apply to every single member of the server.

MEANING? All members, regardless of how long they've been a member, how respected and what position within the server they hold, have to follow the rules and abide by them.

If you want to join our cool discord, you can do so below! Before joining however:

• You must meet the minimum age requirement for Discord within your country. Claiming to be any younger, even for a joke, will result in a ban.
  Wren's World Discord

Rule 1 - Kindness, Respect & Acceptance

All conversations within our server are to strictly be kept civil, respectful and inclusive to other members, to prevent serious misunderstandings and otherwise issues which may arise we ask everyone to keep all conversations in ENGLISH. Conversations happening in any other language should be kept do direct messages!

• Don't be rude or disrespectful to fellow members & the staff team.

We ask you to only watch how you talk to your fellow members, rude and unnecessary comments are unwanted and should just not be voiced. Before sending your message think about if the content of your message would hurt yourself, before sending it.

• Don't harass, bully, threaten or intentionally make someone uncomfortable & break someones boundaries.

• Respect Boundaries

  Respect the boundaries of other members- including Wren & Staff. Breaking someone's boundaries intentionally will result in a warning- if happening on multiple instances in an immediate ban from the community.

• Slurs of any kind are not allowed

  Even if you believe you can use the slur, we have absolute no way of verifying this, thus we forbid any and all slurs within our server.

• Do not fearmonger, ragebait others or spread misinformation within our server.

• Discussions

  Discussions within the server should be kept respectful and kind, if you notice that its getting out of hand, take a step back or end the discussion as a whole.

• Bullying

  Our server has a zero tolerance towards bullying, this especially means no one is to be excluded from conversations.

• Self Promotion and Advertisements!

  The only forms of promotion and advertisements that are allowed are the Partnership Announcements and otherwise permitted promotions by Wren & Staff.

• Drama

  Do not bring up drama from up, be it your own, others or simple youtube/twitter drama, our server is not the right place to discuss this.

• Reactions

  Keep message reactions respectable and kind, spelling out slurs, insults or otherwise offensive things will result in a punishment, this also counts towards reactions using the "pregnant men" emoji, if asked to stop, kindly refrain from further reacting to that person with said emote

Rule 2 - Keeping a safe space

To maintain a safe space for everyone, we ask that you do not share any Personal Information about yourself & about others. We also ask you to not share your face via a face reveal in any kind of forms (this does include cosplay's). Sharing any kind of NSFW or otherwise disturbing content is also prohibited.

• Don't post any sexual, gory or otherwise disturbing content

  This absolutely counts also towards language, images, videos, profiles and otherwise accessible content.

• The following instances are an instant ban from our community.

  Homophobia, Transphobia, Racism, Discrimination, Hate Speech or Doxxing will result in an instant permanent ban from the community that cannot be appealed.

• Avoid controversial & political topics

  Under controversial topics are meant any topics which may cause a long and tiring discussion that would not find any end and would only cause headaches to all parties involved.

• Law Breaking content

  The mention of any and all illegal contents will result in an immediate punishment, this counts towards mentions of piracy, theft and otherwise illegal acts.

• Alt Accounts

  On our server we do not allow alt accounts in any kind of way or form. The only way to be allowed to have an alt account is via permission by a member of staff with the position Administrator+

• E-Dating & Flirting

  Due to minors being on our server, we have a zero tolerance policy on e-dating and flirting. Members who try to converse or send media to other members with the intent of flirting/hitting on/rizzing up, whether a joke or not, will be punished.

We have a zero tolerance policy for any jokes, comments, or any other form of media that sexualizes a minor. This also includes if you yourself are a minor and are calling another minor hot. We have a zero tolerance policy for it, and you will be banned with no chance of appeal.

You may not call adult characters by the following words: hot, daddy, mommy, and otherwise words of this kind.

• Lying about Age

  As our community is build around minors, we have a zero tolerance policy about lying about your age, even if meant to protect yourself. If found out the punishment can vary from a warn to permanent ban.

• Venting

  We are not a therapy server, nor are we professionals who can help you, if you need someone to talk, you can ask if you can talk in direct messages, but any and all venting will result in a warning.

• Automod Bypass

  We have an automod in our server, that filters words and contents not permitted by our rules, bypassing our automod is not permitted and will result in a warning.

• Violence & Threats

  Do not discussion any kinds of violence within our server, we do not tolerate any kind of violence and do not support violent behavior from our members.

  The same can be said for threats, we do not tolerate any kind of threats from our members or against our members, we take threats extremely serious.

Rule 3 - Moderation & Administration

We kindly request that you treat our members of staff with respect and appreciate their decisions and any moderation actions they may take, whether directed towards you or any of our other members. Our moderators handle in good faith, if they've taken a moderation action it most likely will have a good reason!

• Listen to Moderators, Administrators & Wren

  We've had multiple instances now where people have argued with moderators and their decisions, this is not tolerated. If you have an issue with a punishment, you are always open to create a ticket to talk about it.

A decision by a moderator can be overriden by a head moderator at any given time, these decisions of an override however can also be overriden by a member of the administration, the head administrator takes the right to also override an administrator's decision and can only be overriden by Wren herself

• Staff Hierarchy

  The staff team is a kind of hierarchy, depending on the persons position within the team there is always someone you can approach when having an issue with someone else, even through we ask you to utilize the Admin Tickets to report any issues you might have with a member of our staff team.

• Baiting moderation actions.

  Trying to get punished simply to be an annoyance will instead just be dealt with via a permanent mute that won't be removed.

• Staff Reports

  Staff Reports can be done by opening an "Admin Ticket" which only the administration of the server has access to, there you can report a staff member in private.
  To report an administrator, you can direct message the head administrator privately.

• Bringing up Moderation Actions

  Do not bring up your or others moderation actions taken against you, moderation actions are a thing between the moderators and the user, and thus a private thing.

• Pinging Staff + Wren

  Do not unnecessarily ping our staff members or Wren herself, we also have responsibilities outside of the discord server and would like to be allowed to also focus on these.

• Applications

  You can apply to become a moderator when we are actively looking for new moderators, this will be announced!

• Ban Appeals

  Ban appeals can be submitted via this appeal site: Appeals

- Ban appeals can only be accepted by members of the Administration.

Minimodding

We kindly ask that you refrain from mini-moderating. If you notice someone breaking a rule, please feel free to politely ping a moderator or open a ticket to address the issue. Impersonation of staff is also prohibited and will be punished accordingly.

• Pinging a moderator

  When someone is breaking a rule, ping a moderator that is currently online in the memberlist on the right side of your screen.

• Opening a ticket

  You can also open a ticket to report a rule breaking instead of taking matters into your own hand. The fastest way however is to just ping a moderator in chat!

• On-Break

  Staff members have the possibility of going on break at any given time, you will be able to tell them apart from other moderators as they will have a dark grey name color, we ask you to not ping these members- in the case that no other moderators are currently available you may also ping them.

Retired Staff

Retired staff members are those people that have supported the team previously as members of the staff team and have honourably left the staff team to focus on other things, these members are still highly respected for the previous work they've done for our server and thus are to be treated with respect.

Rule 4 - Media, Art & AI Usage

As an extension of Rule 2, please ensure that all content/media are SFW and not disturbing to other users. This includes suggestive content, threats, or disrespect religion/politics-wise. This also applies to server nicknames, banners, profile pictures and about-mes

• ​ Any and all Media belongs in our media channel, otherwise if you are Level 60+ you may be allowed to post media occasionally in general.

• ​ All art belongs in their respective channel, if you are uncertain in what channel to send it- media is the right place for now!

• Images, Video's, Gif's etc. are to not have any rule breaking content within them.

• All art, fanart etc. has to be properly be credited when sent by you.

  Either in the form of a link to the actual post of the artist, by crediting them with a @(username) on (platform) or by simply not sending the art.

• Art may not be traced.

  Using references is fine, but fully tracing and copying another persons artwork is not fine and will be punished, should you however have the permission of the artist that is another story.

AI Usage within our server

We highly appreciate real, genuine artists who pour their entire heart, soul and time into their work and not just go into an AI, send a "prompt" that then generates the art for them.

Art is a form of showing yourself, be it writing, music, drawing and so much more, thus we as Wren's World strongly oppose the usage of AI and will always remain a safe space for genuine and real artists.

We do not allow any forms of AI! That also counts towards AI generated brainrot and otherwise AI content.

Rule 5 - Use of channels, voice channels & forums​

Our channels all have a designated purpose, if you are unsure about what purpose a channel has you can check out our channel guide here

• Spamming

  On our server we do not allow spamming at all within any channels, this is to ensure everyone can chat normally and not be disturbed by spam.

• Voice Recordings

  Recording VCs without consent is frowned upon in the server, therefore we do not allow it. You need consent from everyone in the VC if you are going to record it!

• Text Walls

  A text wall is a long form of text that takes up a lot of space on the screen and disturbs conversations, we do not allow Text Walls within our general chat but you can send them in our writing channel instead!

• GIF Spam

  We ask that you refrain from spamming multiple GIF's after another, this is to prevent the flooding of chat with GIF's. This also includes GIF Chains.

• Forum Posts

  Forum posts must be properly be tagged, if no tags are available you may not be subject to this rule, should tags be available and you are unsure about what tag applies to your post, you may ask a staff member about what tag would be correct to use.

• Self Promotion and Advertisements!

  The only forms of promotion and advertisements that are allowed are the Partnership Announcements and otherwise permitted promotions by Wren & Staff.

• Spoilers

  When a new update for a game comes out, we ask you to keep all spoilers out of our general chat, if wanted we can create a thread for you but if you wish to discuss the new story you may do so by using the native spoiler feature of discord for your messages.

Rule 6 - Partnerships

Recently our server started to partner with other servers, this goes both ways and we want to ensure absolute fairness and respectful behaviour towards our partner servers.

• Be respectful

  If found out that you have been disrespectful within one of our partner servers, we will take fellow actions against you in our server.

• Being banned on a partners server

  If found out that you have been banned on one of our partner servers for the reasons: Homophobia, Transphobia, Racism, Discrimination, Hate Speech or Doxxing, you will be banned from our server too.

Wren's World strives to partner with all kind of servers, we only have a handful of requirements that are easy to meet, our partnership management is responsible for all matters concerning partnerships and are your to go people when you have any concerns regarding a partnership!

Rule 7 - Tickets

On our server we have a support system in the form of tickets, these tickets are only accessable to staff and the user who has opened them.

• Do not share the content of tickets with other users.

• Information gained via tickets are sensitive and are to be kept private.

  If found out that you've information gained via a ticket, you will be banned from the server.

• Ticket Categories

  1. General Support - This ticket category is for when you have a question for the staff team or to report a member to the staff team for breaking the rules.
  2. Suggestions - This category is for when you want to suggest something for the server, such as a change to the bots, events or anything that concerns the discord server, please make sure to explain your suggestion in a way that everyone understands it!
  3. Admin Tickets - This category is where you can get into direct contact with the administration team regarding staff reports, staff feedback & otherwise server inquires + feedback.
  4. Mod Apps - This category is only enabled when we are looking for new moderators to join our staff team.

Opening a ticket in the wrong category is fine and will not get you in trouble, we simply will close the ticket and tell you to open a ticket in the right category.

• Closing Tickets

  Tickets can only be closed by staff members, if you wish for your ticket to be closed please send a message in your ticket (example: could you please close this ticket?) and the ticket will be closed as soon as possible.

• Requesting a specific moderator

  If you wish to talk with a specific moderator within your ticket, please clarify in the form of your message by saying something like: could I please talk to (moderator name).

• Requesting a specific moderator

  Regardless of reporting a member or a staff member, we ask that you have concrete proof in the forms of screenshots, videos, message links or otherwise hard proof, this is to ensure that all claims made against someone else are true.

• Not replying to a ticket

  Not replying in a ticket, will result with us closing your ticket after 1-2 hours, if you plan on not responding anytime soon, we ask you to let us know when you'll be available.

Rule 8 - Profile's

• Profile pictures may not contain anything NSFW/NSFL.

• About Me's may not contain anything rule breaking.

• Banners may not contain anything rule breaking.

• Nicknames

  Your server nickname must easily be pingable and may not contain any special characters or otherwise unpingable content.

  • Nicknames may not contain any special characters at the start of the name.

Rule 9 - Bot's

On our server we have multiple bots, these bots all have their designated purpose.

• Bot Abuse

  You may not abuse any bot systems we offer for you to use, to do so will result in your access to the bots channel being removed.

• Mimu

  On our server we have the bot Mimu, Mimu is used for our currency system as well as our boosting embed! You can buy special roles in the Mimu store using our servers currency named Petals, these can be obtained by doing various commands in our bots channel. A few of these roles are limited and can only be bought a limited amount of times, these roles are only yours till you leave the server, after that it is returned to the store where another user may buy it.

• Bot Commands

  All bot commands are to go into our designated bots channel, the only exception to this are moderation commands that have to be done in a haste.

• Bot DM's

  In some special cases you will get a direct message by our moderation bot Robin, when getting a message by Robin, it either means you have triggered our automod, have been warned, muted or even banned, these messages usually mention exactly why it was sent. Some act as a simple reminder (example: our spam message) or to let you know that you just broke a rule.

• Reminders.

  We have a reminders bot on the server, we ask that you do not abuse the feature and use it normally.

Rule 10 - Parasocial Behavior

On our server, we do not tolerate parasocial behavior at all, especially towards Wren but is not exclusive towards just her, for those who do not know what parasocial behavior is: You may want to read the Wikipedia article on it.

Wren

1. Wren does not know you and is not your friend.
2. Wren is not required to interact with you if she does not want to.
3. Wren has the exclusive right to ban any member she does not wish to have within her community without any reason.
4. Wren does not accept friend requests.

Staff

1. Staff members generally do not accept random friend requests without knowing you.
2. Staff members have the right to block you at any given moment without explanation why.
3. If staff members are uncomfortable with you, it might end in a ban from the server.
4. Ignoring the boundaries of staff members multiple times will result in a ban from the server.
5. The administration takes the right to remove you from the server if you pose a threat to the staff team & community in any kind of way.

Content Creators

1. Other content creators within our server do not know you and are not your friend.
2. If they are uncomfortable with you, they have the right to report you to the staff team.

Partners

1. Our partners may not be direct messaged by you to seek your own partnership via our server. You may join their server and apply for partnership via the proper channels

Overall, our staff team takes the right to exclude you from our community should you pose a threat to the any member of the community in any kind of way or form.

Rule 11 - Leaks

On our server we have a zero tolerance towards leaked assets, content and otherwise instances of sharing early acquired information's regarding new characters, regions or otherwise game mechanics that have not previously been announced by the company themself.

The applies for all the following games: Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Waves, Neverness to Everness, Arknight Endfield and otherwise games.

• The discussion of leaks is prohibited.

• The sharing of leaks is prohibited.

• The sharing of early acquired information regarding a characters kit is prohibited.

Posting leaks in any kind of way or form will result in a warning, before posting something make sure that it has either been publicly revealed by the game's developers in forms of trailers, media, or otherwise forms.

Non awareness of it being a leak does not protect you from being warned for posting leaks

Rule 12 - Punishments

Our punishment systems works in different ways, we work on a case by case basis and there is no standardized punishments on cases, moderators may punish you differently for a case that someone else might have only been warned for.

• Minor offences will not receive a warning, unless they are repeated multiple times.

All warns given via our moderation bot @Robin, you will receive a dm with the reason why you have been warned.
